Health and Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria (HLSC) – www.biocluster.bg is a professional non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing the biotechnology and life sciences sector in Bulgaria. HLSC unites a diverse network of experts, scientists, researchers, academic institutions, start-ups, established global companies, incubators, technology transfer organizations, and professionals in journalism, marketing, and public relations. These collective efforts aim to drive innovation and growth in Bulgaria’s biotech and life sciences fields. HLSC is a member of the Management Board of Bulgaria’s largest employer association, KRIB, and is affiliated with major international organizations, including EuropaBio, Europe’s most prominent biotech industry body, CEBR – the Council of European Bioregions, ECHAlliance, ECCP, and the MEDIC NEST Meta-cluster for Personalized Medicine. HLSC also benefits from strong collaborations with local authorities, European institutions, and international partners. The Cluster has a proven track record of success in Horizon Europe project proposals, solidifying its role as a leader in the biotech and life sciences ecosystem in Bulgaria.
