IMAGO-MOL Cluster

The North East Regional Innovative Cluster for Structural and Molecular Imaging (IMAGO-MOL) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization with the core objectives of enhancing the scientific competitiveness of its members and bolstering the economic competitiveness of the North East Region of Romania within the realm of medical imaging. Established in 2012, IMAGO-MOL serves as an umbrella organization for more than 70 promoters of regional development, research, development, and innovation (R&D&I), and education. Its membership includes hospitals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in ICT and health sectors, public authorities as well as associations dedicated to patient advocacy or medical research. The main domains of action are medical and nuclear imaging, precision medicine, digital health and AI in healthcare.It has founded MEDIC-NEST meta-cluster in precision medicine, comprising a number of 17 European clusters and is currently chairing it.
