Sahlgrenska Science Park aims to accelerate health innovation. Our home is in West Sweden, but we take a global approach to understand and harness opportunities, networks and knowledge. At Sahlgrenska Science Park, we catalyze collaboration, innovation and competitiveness. We catalyze the start and development of companies and we catalyze collaboration between industry, academia and healthcare. We do this to enable a more healthy and prosperous society. We use our non-profit approach, coupled with broad cross-sector experience and an exceptional network to provide a welcoming community for and display window to West Swedish life science. We organize events and seminars (e.g. Park Annual), give tailored support through our skilled business advisors and sought-after CO-AX accelerator programme, offer advanced health innovation labs & offices and we lead an abundance of health innovation projects in collaboration with partners across industry, academia, healthcare and other public players.

Cecilia Edebo

CEO at Sahlgrenska Science Park
Cecilia Edebo is today CEO at Sahlgrenska Science Park. Until recently she was CEO of Cellink, which she was part of transforming from a unicorn start-up (from Gothenburg) to a global market leader in 3D bioprinting, today part of BICO Group.
She has extensive experience within life science, having held several leading positions as CEO, within Essity and Mölnlycke Health care, where she was part of growing and expanding the business across the globe. Cecilia brings extensive experience of both entrepreneurship and business management driving innovation within life science from startups and large companies, as well as an extensive network of scientific and business collaboration partners.
With a family background and business in medicine and biotech Cecilia chose a career in international business with the mission to contribute to improving healthcare across the globe by pushing h the boundaries of life science with exciting innovations that may enable future lifesaving treatments.
