Have You Found the Solution? PRECISEU Launches the 3rd Edition of the Best Practice Recognition

30/10/2026

From breakthrough technologies to better access to personalised treatments, PRECISEU is looking for proven solutions that can help overcome the barriers to personalised medicine and inspire progress across Europe.

Personalised medicine is opening up new possibilities for healthcare, but turning scientific advances into accessible, sustainable solutions remains a challenge. High treatment costs, limited infrastructure, complex regulatory pathways, fragmented health data and gaps in public trust can all slow down progress.

Have you developed a solution that addresses one of these challenges? The third edition of the PRECISEU Best Practice Recognition is now open for applications, inviting organisations and innovators to share proven approaches that can help move personalised medicine from ambition to implementation.

Turning challenges into solutions

Across Europe, efforts to advance personalised medicine face common barriers. PRECISEU has explored these challenges across its partner regions, highlighting the need for practical solutions that can be shared, adapted and adopted in different contexts.

The recognition seeks initiatives that tackle these barriers, whether through technological innovation, more effective pathways to market access, responsible use of health data and AI, or approaches that strengthen patient involvement and public trust.

Four categories, one shared ambition

The recognition celebrates outstanding practices across four categories:

  • INNOVATION – Breakthrough technologies and cost-lowering solutions.
  • IMPACT – Transformative market access and sustainable real-world benefit.
  • EXCELLENCE – Health data and AI excellence for personalised medicine.
  • CULTURE – Patient involvement, public engagement and cultural impact.

Whether your initiative advances novel therapies, improves access to treatment, supports responsible health data use or builds trust through education and engagement, your experience could help others address similar challenges.

Why apply?

The PRECISEU Best Practice Recognition offers an opportunity to increase the visibility of your work within the European personalised medicine community, connect with experts and potential partners, and share your experience with stakeholders working towards similar goals.

Selected initiatives will have the opportunity to gain wider recognition, while winners will be promoted to European and international audiences and invited to the PRECISEU Best Practice Recognition Ceremony in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 25 May 2027, as part of the Vitalis congress.

By bringing successful approaches to wider attention, the recognition aims to encourage knowledge exchange, foster collaboration and support the uptake of solutions that have demonstrated their value.

Is your solution ready to inspire others?

Eligible organisations are invited to submit their applications in English through the online application process. Projects must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the official Call Document.

The application deadline is 28 February 2027.
